Merry Christmas everybody! We had a great multifamily Christmas this year with everybody going over to the Griffeth's house and spending some good quality Christmas time together. There were great food, great presents, and great memories along with lots and lots of wrapping paper. We feel so blessed to have such amazing family and friends and thanks to all for your thoughtfulness and gifts. We love you all and we hope you all have a great 2011!!

Happy Halloween and we hope everybody's been having a fun and spooky weekend! Halloween has been lots of fun for us this year. The kids both got to pick their own costumes with Brooke choosing to be Alice in Wonderland and Bry being a Lion with a scary roar. Since Halloween fell on a Sunday this year we did all of our Trick-or-Treating at the Ward Trunk-or-Treat which had lots of activities to do and food to eat. The kids had a lot of fun helping us pass out candy and seeing all their friends dressed up. This year we also decided to each carve our own pumpkins (Actually the kids and Shan carved all of their faces on 3 sides of the same pumpkin) which provided extra enjoyment for all. Even though it's been two years since Brooke was Tinkerbell for Halloween she insisted I carve a "Rosetta Fairy" pumpkin this year so here's the result. No one really knows who she is but maybe she'll be interpreted as a low-key Halloween witch or something. Yeah, Brooke's got me wrapped around her little finger.
So here we are back and blogging again. As you can see from the first picture we have had lots of exciting news and happenings this summer. First and foremost...Baby number 3 is on the way!!! The due date is Feb. 11th and we're all excited for another addition to our family. Brooke is really hoping for a little sister so she can keep the tilt in the house on the female side but we'll just have to wait and see. As for the rest of the summer I thought I'd post some pictures of the highlights starting from Bry's second birthday. He had a blast opening all of his presents, eating his Elmo cake, and just having a party. In May Brooke had her graduation from pre-school and got to have fun getting dressed up to celebrate her special day and accomplishments. We've also taken a few trips this summer, mostly to see family. We all got to go back to Las Vegas for a week to have fun in our former hometown with family and friends and then Shan and the kids got to go to California to welcome our new nephew/cousin Jack into the family. Cute little guy! Soon after that we got to celebrate another birth as our little niece Maddie was also born and beautiful as can be! Of course as busy as all of this was we still found time to have fun with the normal summer activities like, swimming, miniature golfing and sometimes just fooling around. We even found out we have a wild animal reserve about 15 minutes from our house and got to visit and see some awesome animals with Grandma and Grandpa O'Bryant when they were here to visit for a week. We hope everyone else is having a fun summer wherever you may be, and make sure to make the best of it as there is only a few weeks before school starts (which will be Brooke's first year in Kindergarten:-) Love you all!
