So here's our final post of the summer. Hopefully not for the year:-) Things ended up being pretty busy around here, but everything's starting to settle down as we're getting back into school mode. Brooke started first grade last week and is loving her teacher and her class. She started at a new school since we moved at the beginning of the summer, but she already knows several kids from our ward who go to her school and Brooke being Brooke is always quick to make fast friends. Bry and Jake are still at home with Shannon keeping her company, helping her out, and occasionally testing the limits of her sanity. Jake is now 7 months old and has just barely started crawling. He is still very easy to smile and is generally enjoying his newfound mobility as he now has access to every little thing he sees on the floor. Lucky us!! Bry is good about trying his best to be a good brother and is great at showing Jake death-defying stunts he can try later in life. To be honest Shan and I have already resigned ourselves to the inevitability of that rushed trip to the hospital at some point in Bry's life due to some acrobatic insanity, but until then it's kinda cool seeing a 3 year old try to do a front flip.
